Basic concepts and terms:

  • “Cloud service” is a service that can be used by the client connected to the Internet. The variety of such services is wide and depends on the activities of the company providing them. For example, you can store files not on your computer, but in the Internet, you may not install any software on your computer and work with its online analogues Chrome, Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer. As a rule, all you need is to create your account. Then you just need to log in to your account and create a document or start a program to begin to work with them. Your documents and necessary programs are not tied to a specific computer – you can work with them from any computer.
  • IP video surveillance is video surveillance with the usage of special video cameras. IP video surveillance involves the use of digital cameras, which have a direct connection to the computer network. Also, the camera may be connected to the computer; in this case it is called a web camera. The advantages of using IP video surveillance:
    • the obtained digital image is not converted to analog, and that allows to significantly improve the image quality;
    • there is the possibility to create and use different functionality;
    • there is no need for additional cables to transmit the video image (video image can be transmitted both by wire and wirelessly).
  • ip cloud scheme To organize IP video surveillance the following is required:
    • IP-camera;
    • Local computer network with Internet connection (or only the Internet connection);
    • Internet;
    • “Cloud service” of video surveillance;
    • Client hardware (PC, laptop, tablet, PDA, smartphone, etc.) with a browser.
