Setting UPnP on Mikrotik routers

Using a Web-browser go to the router interface entering the IP address of the router in the address field (the default IP address is 192.168.0.1). Enter your user name and password.

Choose the menu item “IP” (see Fig. 2).

Choose the sub-item “UPnP”, check “Enable”. To save the settings click the button “Apply” to update the parameters. After saving the settings click the button “Interface” (see Fig.3).

In the opened window click the button “Add New” (see Fig.4).

In the new window choose the internal interface (to which the camera is connected). Check the type “Internal”. To save the settings click the button “Apply” and then “Ok” (see Fig.5).

In the same way add the interface that is connected to the Internet (the external interface). In the new window, select the interface that is connected to the Internet. Check the type “External”. To save the settings click the button “Apply” and then “Ok” (see Fig.6).

As a result two interfaces should appear in the table (see Fig.7).

So the setting of the UPnP support on the router is complete. Do not forget to enable the use of UPnP on the camera itself.
