Setting Port Forwarding on routers Mikrotik

Using a Web-browser go to the router interface entering the IP address of the router in the address field (the default IP address is 192.168.88.1). Enter your user name and password. From the menu, select the item”IP” (see Fig.1).

From the submenu, select the item “Firewall” (see Fig.2).

In the opened window choose the tab “NAT” and click the button “Add New” (see Fig.3).

Fill in the required parameters (see Fig.4). For example:

  • The field “Chain” select from the menu “dstnat”;
  • The field “Src. Address” enter IP address of the server will that request data from the camera: 193.175.224.100;
  • The field “Protocol” select from the menu “6(tcp)”;
  • The field “Dst. Port” enter the port number before the forwarding: 8554;
  • The field “In. Internet” from the list select the interface that will receive requests of ether1-gateway.

In the section “Action” specify what to do with the previously defined rule (see Fig.5). Namely:

  • The field “Action” select from the menu “dst-nat”;
  • The field “To Address” enter IP address of the camera: 172.16.1.73;
  • The field “To Port” enter the port number that is set on the camera: 554;

After filling in all the required fields click the button “Apply” and the “Ok” button to save and apply settings (see Fig.4).

So the setting of the “Port Forward” on the router is complete.
